Nature and Scenic: Nature Photographers

Part of my Nature and Scenic class requires me to research a current nature photographer and compare myself to them. I did a little bit of research and here is a few nature photographers that I found who had some work that I found appealing:

Jan K Forseth

Ricky and Sue Ferguson

Bobbie Goodrich

George Sanker

Harold Davis

All of these photographers are members of the North American Nature Photography Association and was able to find them on the official NANPA site.

Digital Portfolio: Slide.com

The final program we had to use was from slide.com. Of all the programs we have used, this is the one that not only had I never seen/heard of before, but was also not so impressed with its presentation.
It would not be bad for people to quickly through together something special for family or friends. But as a professional tool, it is not so professional.

Digital Portfolio: Animoto

Another company that produces slide shows with audio ability is Animoto. While it does cost to make full length videos, you can try it out for free by making 30sec shorts like I did.

For some reason, I was unable to get it to view simply by embedding the actual Animoto video, so I tried uploading to YouTube instead (which, sadly, degraded the quality) which I was able to embed.

However, if you still would like to see the original (and much better quality) version, please click here.
